Residents & Renters GuidelinesWelcome to South Chesterman Beach Homes.
We ask that all residents and occasional renters respect the privacy of our homes and grounds by following our Residents & Renters Guidelines.
Parking
Please note that one unit-numbered covered stall is allowed for each home. Visitor parking is allowed in the designated areas marked “visitor” and is on a first-served basis; only one visitor vehicle per unit. There is no parking allowed on the internal roadways or by fire hydrants within South Chesterman Beach Homes property.
Camping
There is no camping or overnight sleeping in vehicles allowed on the grounds.
Pets
Pets are only allowed in units where owners have given permission. Dogs must be on a leash at all times. Our by-laws strictly enforce a poop-ond-scoop regulation. Please clean up after your pet for the safety of our children and our health.
Pathways
Kindly use the gravel pathways when walking to and from the beach. Use the foot-shower in the summer to remove sand from your shoes to keep our homes clean.
Lawn & Grounds
In order to preserve the tranquility of our homes, please refrain from playing games (soccer, frisbee, football, etc.) on the lawns. The beach is a larger area and a safer venue for these games.
Sports Equipment
Please do not dry or leave wetsuits, towels etc. on the lawns or railings. Sports equipment should not be left on the lawns or grounds. Please store in the outdoor unit locker if available, your vehicle, or discreetly on your patio.
Occupancy
Our guidelines have maximum renter occupancies; 4 max./one bedroom home, 6 max./two bedroom and den home.
Noise & Lighting
Please respect the peaceful quietness of our setting and refrain from excessive noise both inside your unit and outside. Quiet-time is 11pm - kindly turn your outdoor patio lights off when retiring for the night. Pathway lights will turn off at 11pm.
Garbage
garbage bins are located in the Craig Road entrance visitors parking lot. Please do not leave any garbage outside your unit - place in the bins and close and latch the doors in order to prevent bears and other animals from prowling for scraps.
BBQ’s
Please use BBQ's safely and clean the grate after each use of any left over food that will attract bears and other animals.
Unit Property
Since all units are privately owned and some are being occupied by full time residents, please respect our personal property and do not move deck chairs and other personal property from any unit, or transfer plates,, glasses etc. from one unit to another.

Please respect the beach and keep it clean for all to enjoy.
Tofino Vacation Rentals Policies
- Rates subject to change without notice
- 50% Deposit plus $15 Processing Fee
required at time of booking- 50% Balance due 30 days prior to arrival
- Payment by Visa, Mastercard, Cheque or Cash
- Confirmation letter mailed, emailed or faxed to you upon receipt of deposit
- Deposit refunded less $56.05 administration fee if cancellation occurs 30 days or more prior to check in
- Cancellation less than 30 days notice will forfeit your deposit. We will do our best to rebook the property. If successful, we will refund your deposit less $56.05
- Prices are subject to 7% G.S.T. where applicable and 8% Hotel Tax on all properties
- Peak season rates in effect during all US and Canadian Statutory Holidays
- Damage deposit is required ($250) This can be secured by cheque or credit card. This amount is not processed unless required, after check out
- Check-in time is 4:00 pm, check-out is at 11:00 am
- All properties are non smoking
